Job Description

Role: Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Supply


Location: Solapur and Nashik (Maharashtra)


Rajasthan/Gujarat


Role Overview: We are looking for a driven and field-oriented Executive /

Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager – Supply to support and strengthen our

procurement operations for multiple fruit categories. The role requires

strong on-ground presence at mandis, sourcing hubs, and farming regions to

ensure smooth procurement and supply flow. The ideal candidate will work

closely with farmers, traders, and internal teams to identify sourcing

pockets, ensure quality standards, and enable cost-effective, timely

procurement.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing Operations

○ Assist in implementing sourcing strategies for fruits across

designated regions.

○ Identify sourcing zones and onboard reliable suppliers/farmers.

○ Ensure quality, quantity, and price alignment during procurement.

○ Work closely with traders, commission agents, and local

stakeholders to secure supply.


2. On-Ground Supplier Management

○ Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers and

aggregators.

○ Act as the company’s face on the ground to address disputes,

discrepancies, and supply disruptions.

○ Educate and align farmers on procurement expectations, quality

standards, and supply timelines.


3. Field Intelligence & Market Monitoring

○ Monitor mandi operations, crop cycles, and harvesting trends to

plan procurement.

○ Track market dynamics including pricing, competitor sourcing, and

commodity flow.

○ Share real-time market intelligence with central teams to support

data-backed decisions.


4. Coordination & Communication

○ Coordinate with internal teams (Category, Demand, and SCM) to

ensure daily operational alignment.

○ Ensure smooth execution of last-mile procurement by addressing

ground-level challenges.

○ Support demand planning by sharing input on availability, quality,

and pricing of produce.


Experience & Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness Management, Agriculture, or Horticulture

2) 2 years to 4 years of hands-on experience in Agri-commodity

procurement or farm sourcing.

3) Exposure to multiple commodities and working across different

geographies is preferred.

4) Strong field orientation – comfortable working in mandis and rural sourcing

locations.

5) Well-networked in the Agri ecosystem (Input/Output stakeholders).

6) Willingness to travel extensively and work in high-pressure environments.
