Assistant Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Source products and services as per operational and project requirements.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure best quality and cost efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and build long-term partnerships.
• Oversee the complete purchasing cycle including order processing, delivery, and logistics coordination.
• Ensure timely vendor payments in coordination with the finance department.
• Periodically evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
• Maintain proper procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
• Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare procurement reports and present them to management.
  

Eligibility

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably from a logistics background.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of vendor management, contracts, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
