The ideal candidate should be a a persuasive communicator with a passion for renewable energy and a strong desire to help homeowners and businesses transition to solar power. Key Responsibilities: Prospect and generate leads through door-to-door sales, referrals, networking, and digital outreach. Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess customer energy needs and present customized solar solutions. Educate potential customers on the benefits of solar energy, financing options, and available incentives (tax credits, rebates, etc.). Prepare and present sales proposals, addressing customer questions and objections. Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM software. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation. Stay updated on industry trends, solar technology, and local regulations. Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Previous sales experience (preferably in solar, energy, Renewable energy and or into site projects) is a plus Engineering background would be an advantage Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts simply. Persuasion: Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-focused approach. Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, Zoom, and other sales tools. License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if field sales are required).
