Assistant Operations Manager

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Operations

Location: Delhi NCR (On-ground, Field-based)

Reporting To: Head – Operations & Strategy

We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Assistant Manager – Operations to lead and manage our ground operations in Delhi NCR. The ideal candidate should have a strong operational mindset, the ability to manage field teams, and a proactive approach to solving on-ground challenges. This is a field-heavy role requiring day-to-day oversight of activities, people management, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage ground operations across multiple locations in Delhi NCR

Supervise, train, and motivate on-ground field staff to ensure smooth daily execution

Monitor daily workflows, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met

Ensure operational compliance with company SOPs and quality standards

Handle on-ground escalations, client/stakeholder coordination, and quick issue resolution

Collaborate with central teams (HR, Finance, Strategy) for smooth functioning of ground ops

Maintain and report daily/weekly metrics, performance tracking, and operational updates

Coordinate resource allocation, shift planning, and manpower optimization

Support in vendor and asset management as required

Implement new processes and drive continuous improvements on the ground

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA or operations certification is a plus

2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, field management, or a similar role

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability in dynamic environments

Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and operational tracking tools

Comfortable working on the field and managing remote/ground staff

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Familiarity with Delhi NCR geography and local workforce dynamics is preferred

Hindi and English fluency is mandatory
