Role: Assistant Manager – Reporting (Sales Operations)

Exp: 5+yrs

Location: Hyderabad


About the Role

The Assistant Manager – Reporting (Sales Operations) will be based in Hyderabad and will report to the Director – Sales Operations. This role involves supporting and partially leading a team of analysts to streamline reporting operations, ensure data consistency across Salesforce and NetSuite, and improve sales performance analysis in close collaboration with global Sales, Operations, and Finance teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to deliver live KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Lead initiatives for data cleanup, scrubbing, and validation across Salesforce, NetSuite, and other CRM/ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with the NX Data and Data Analytics team to define the requirements for schemas that support the Sales Team's KPIs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business domain.
  • Develop dashboards, automated queries, and reports that access and consolidate information from various data sources.
  • Effectively present and articulate ideas in an easy-to-consume, visual format.
  • Drive reporting automation, governance, and process optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze sales and pipeline data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with global Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align reporting with strategic goals.
  • Generate and present sales reports and executive-level presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to analysts on reporting tools and best practices for data management.


Support market entry and expansion analysis in collaboration with Sales Ops to identify new business opportunities.


Required Qualifications

  • MBA/Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Reporting/Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Excel (Advanced), PPT, and Salesforce.com.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to deliver under tight timelines with accuracy and clarity.
  • Experience in the solar industry (preferred).
  • Self-driven individual with a bias for action and a passion for analytics.
  • Adept at data prep, data modeling and data visualization.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with the system life cycle.
  • Experience writing detailed specifications of user requirements, business processes, and procedures required to develop and implement reporting & insights.
  • Experience in analyzing data sets using SQL queries, working with multiple data sources, and combining relevant information to generate insights from analyses.
