Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Project & Operations Management

• Oversee and track multiple projects related to banana export operations.
• Coordinate with farm supervisors, packhouse teams, logistics providers, and cold storage operators to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure dispatches are completed within schedule and as per quality standards.

Temperature Control & Cold Chain Monitoring

• Monitor and document temperature data at all stages: farm, cold storage, dispatch, pre-carriage transport, and voyage.
• Analyze logger reports and identify deviations or breakdowns in cold chain management.
• Recommend corrective actions to prevent spoilage and maintain export quality.

Analysis & Reporting

• Perform detailed analysis of supply chain data to optimize processes and reduce losses.
• Prepare regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly) highlighting performance, deviations, and recommendations.
• Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring of critical parameters.

Customer Complaint Management & RCA

• Investigate customer complaints related to container quality, temperature deviations, or product spoilage.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and identify corrective/preventive actions.
• Share findings with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to avoid recurrence.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Support adherence to post-harvest SOPs (chlorine wash, Bavistin dips, pre-cooling, double-dipping, etc.).
• Audit farm and cold storage practices to ensure compliance with export standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and supplier communication.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cold chain management and fruit export processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with temperature logger systems and reporting formats.
• Effective communication and coordination with diverse stakeholders.
• Root cause analysis (RCA) and complaint resolution skills.
