Coin your trust in us as we create magic together!This role ensure Trade and Custody processes operate consistently, effectively, and in full compliance with defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and control frameworks. The role will drive regular internal audits, identify deviations and process risks, and enable continuous improvement through structured quality governance and actionable insights.
You need to be a HODLer of these
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Operations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in financial operations, internal audit, or process quality.
- Strong understanding of operational controls, SOP governance, and risk management practices.
- Experience with internal audits, process mapping, and root cause analysis preferred.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and process orientation.
- Ability to interpret SOPs, identify control gaps, and propose practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with tools for audit tracking, reporting, and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI).
You will be mining through these tasks
- Process Audits & Quality Reviews
- Conduct periodic internal audits for all key Trade and Custody processes
- Validate process execution against approved SOPs, controls, and defined SLAs.
- Identify process deviations, control breaches, and potential risk areas with supporting data and documentation.
- Maintain detailed audit logs and ensure each observation is tracked to closure.
- Governance & Reporting
- Develop and maintain a process quality dashboard with defined input and output metrics.
- Publish regular audit summaries, highlighting compliance levels, exceptions, and trends.
- Ensure all breaches or SOP violations are captured, reasoned, and reported through governance forums.
- Partner with process owners to agree on remediation plans and follow through on timely closure.
- Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation
- Analyse recurring issues and identify root causes and systemic improvements.
- Recommend process enhancements, SOP updates, or control adjustments to strengthen operations.
- Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives that improve quality and reduce manual errors.
- Quality Framework & Best Practices
- Establish and evolve a structured internal audit calendar and checklist framework for Trade and Custody operations.
- Define quality and performance metrics (adherence, breach rate, repeat deviation rate, etc.) to measure process health.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline within the teams.
Key Success Metrics
- ≥ 95% of planned audits completed on schedule.
- Zero unaccounted breaches; 100% deviations documented and reasoned.
- Reduction in repeat deviations and major non-compliance items.
- Timely publication of monthly/quarterly governance reports.
- Improved audit feedback and closure rate within agreed TATs.
