VRB Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing FMCG organization committed to innovation, quality, and operational excellence. As part of our expansion, we are strengthening our HR function at the Neemrana plant and seeking an experienced HR professional to lead HR operations and people processes.

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager / Manager – HR will lead plant-level HR activities including manpower planning, recruitment, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee relations, training, and overall HR operations. The role requires strong ownership, leadership capability, and the ability to build a productive and compliant workplace aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Lead end-to-end hiring for plant roles and ensure timely manpower availability.
  • Work with HODs to forecast manpower needs and maintain manpower trackers.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and joining formalities as per SOPs.

2. HR Operations & Payroll

  • Manage daily attendance, leave administration, and shift management.
  • Verify payroll inputs and coordinate with corporate HR/Finance.
  • Maintain personal files, documentation, and ensure HRIS data accuracy.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Factory Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity, CLRA, and other regulations.
  • Coordinate with contractors for statutory compliance and audit readiness.
  • Maintain statutory registers and compliance documents.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and ensure effective communication.
  • Maintain a positive and coordinated work environment.
  • Drive employee engagement, R&R programs, welfare initiatives, and internal communication.

5. Training & Development

  • Lead TNI (Training Needs Identification) with department heads.
  • Conduct training programs, induction, and skill-development sessions.
  • Maintain training records and review training effectiveness.

6. Performance Management & HR MIS

  • Coordinate the performance appraisal cycle.
  • Prepare HR MIS (attendance, headcount, hiring status, training, statutory, and attrition).
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of HR data.

7. Policy Implementation

  • Liaison between Plant HR and HO HR for policy implementation.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate HR initiatives and guidelines.

Key Requirements

Education

  • MBA / PGDM in HR / MSW or Graduate with HR specialization.

Experience

  • 4–9 years

    of experience in plant HR operations; FMCG/manufacturing preferred.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll & statutory norms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command over MS Office and HRIS/ERP systems.
  • Strong documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle workforce effectively.
