Role Objective:
The Role (Events & Experiences) will be responsible for ideating, conceptualising, curating and executing high-quality events at UB City. The role focuses on strengthening existing event IPs while creating new signature IPs that enhance footfall, engagement and brand positioning.
Key Result Areas (KRA) – Events & Experiences
1. Event Ideation & Conceptualisation
Ideate, conceptualise, and design high-quality experiential events aligned with UB City’s brand positioning and target audience.
Develop innovative event formats and engagement ideas to enhance footfall and brand recall.
Identify trends in lifestyle, luxury, art, culture, fashion, food & entertainment to create relevant and aspirational experiences.
2. IP Management – Existing Properties
Strategically manage, strengthen, and scale existing UB City event IPs.
Ensure continuity, consistency, and quality enhancement of legacy events.
Evaluate performance of ongoing IPs and introduce improvements based on audience insights, feedback, and commercial outcomes.
3. IP Development – New Properties
Conceptualise and launch new signature IPs that align with UB City’s vision and commercial objectives.
Build scalable event properties that can be sustained annually or seasonally.
Collaborate with brands, artists, designers, and partners to co-create new experiential IPs.
4. Event Planning & Execution
Own end-to-end planning and execution of events including timelines, budgets, vendors, artists, permissions, and on-ground operations.
Ensure seamless execution with attention to detail, quality, safety, and guest experience.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for smooth delivery.
5. Budgeting & Commercial Performance
Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and ROI.
Identify sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue opportunities to offset costs and enhance event profitability.
Track and report financial performance of events and IPs.
6. Vendor, Partner & Artist Management
Identify, onboard, and manage vendors, agencies, artists, performers, and collaborators.
Negotiate commercials, manage contracts, and ensure timely deliverables.
Maintain long-term relationships with key partners and creative collaborators.
7. Marketing & Promotions Support
Work closely with the marketing team to create event communication plans.
Support amplification strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
8. Audience Engagement & Experience
Curate events that deliver superior guest experience and reflect UB City’s premium positioning.
Monitor audience feedback, footfall, engagement metrics, and sentiment.
Continuously refine event formats to enhance consumer experience.
9. Compliance, Safety & Permissions
Ensure all events comply with local regulations, licenses, and safety norms.
Coordinate with authorities for permissions where required.
Implement risk management and contingency planning.
10. Reporting & Performance Analysis
Prepare post-event reports covering objectives, execution, attendance, media coverage, and ROI.
Track performance of each IP against defined KPIs.
Present insights and recommendations for future events.
