As a Regional Business Manager in the Solar Installer Business Segment, you will play a crucial role in overseeing sales and distribution activities in your assigned region. Your primary focus will be on expanding the Solar Installer network by developing and executing regional sales plans that align with business objectives. Collaborating closely with senior executives, you will be responsible for setting and achieving sales goals for the region. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you manage a sales team, providing guidance and support to maximize revenue and exceed set goals. Conducting regular performance reviews and offering constructive feedback will be essential to ensure the team's success. Analyzing regional market trends and identifying growth opportunities will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to address any potential issues that arise, providing timely solutions and proposing innovative sales techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, attending trade shows and conventions to represent the company may be required. To excel in this role, you should have 4-6 years of proven experience in Solar Product Sales, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and forecast sales. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills are crucial, as is a problem-solving mindset. A willingness to travel as needed and a good understanding of MS Office tools are also essential. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics) and an MBA in Sales & Marketing would be preferred. Your commercial knowledge and experience in working with solar products will be valuable assets in this role.
