Job Summary

We are hiring an Assistant General Manager – Sales to lead commercial development for battery recycling materials, including black mass, recovered metals and battery scrap sourcing partnerships. The role focuses on market expansion, customer acquisition, pricing strategy and supporting long-term business growth. The ideal candidate should have strong sales experience in batteries, metals, chemicals, recycling or related industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth

● Drive sales for recycled materials and value-added processing services.

● Develop annual and quarterly sales plans.

● Build a strong pipeline across new and existing markets.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

● Build relationships with OEMs, battery manufacturers, recyclers and traders.

● Develop partnerships with EV and ESS companies.

● Maintain regular communication with key accounts and manage contract renewals.

3. Commercial Negotiation & Pricing

● Lead commercial discussions, quotations and supply agreements.

● Support pricing strategy for recovered metals and related outputs.

● Ensure margins, payment terms and delivery timelines meet business goals.

4. Market Research & Intelligence

● Track demand trends for lithium, cobalt, nickel and other battery materials.

● Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to leadership.

● Identify new regions and industries with strong potential.

5. Coordination & Documentation

● Coordinate with operations, logistics and finance teams for order execution.

● Support documentation for agreements, POs and compliance.

● Work with QA/QC to ensure quality expectations are met.

6. Team Collaboration & Reporting

● Coordinate with sourcing and production teams for planning.

● Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.

● Present market intelligence to support management decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per month
