Assistant General Manager - Sales

Role & responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitor strategies to refine sales plans.
  
• Drive sales velocity and optimize project inventory absorption.
  

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and motivate sales managers and executives.
  
• Assign targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular training sessions.
  
• Ensure high productivity and adherence to sales processes.
  

Project Sales Operations

• Manage sales operations for ongoing and newly launched projects.
  
• Coordinate with marketing for lead generation, events, and campaigns.
  
• Ensure readiness of sales office, sample flats, and site visit experience.
  

Reporting & Analytics

• Monitor lead funnels, conversion ratios, site visits, bookings, and revenue.
  
• Prepare MIS reports for senior management and forecast future sales.
  
• Ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely sales updates.
  

Compliance & Process Management

• Ensure adherence to RERA norms and other regulatory requirements.
  
• Oversee documentation accuracy and audit preparedness.
  
• Collaborate with finance to support payment collections and backlog clearance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/MBA in Marketing/Sales or equivalent.
  
• 1015+ years of proven experience in real estate sales (developer side preferred).
  
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to manage high-performance teams and deliver under pressure.
  
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting systems.
