Assistant General Manager - Sales

As an Assistant General Manager Sales & Operations at Cocoon Fine Rugs, your role involves leading and scaling the Pan-India sales and operations team, covering retail stores and project business. Your responsibilities include: - Leading and managing Pan-India sales & operations teams, including store sales teams and project sales teams. - Driving business development and building lasting relationships with HNI clients, architects, interior designers, and luxury buyers. - Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth. - Expanding the client base by leveraging personal network and industry contacts. - Overseeing store operations, customer experience, and retail excellence across all locations. - Collaborating with architects, designers, and project consultants for large-scale luxury interior projects. - Ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with brand standards. - Providing leadership, coaching, and performance management to sales and project teams. - Working closely with senior management (Director & CEO) on business expansion strategies. - Representing the brand at luxury exhibitions, trade shows, and business events. Qualifications required for this role include: - 12-18 years of proven experience in Luxury Buildering Material/home dcor/interior design/luxury interiors/home dcor/home furnishing. - Strong Pan-India team management experience across stores and projects. - Well-established network of HNI clients, architects, interior designers, and luxury buyers. - Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and manage multi-location teams. - Strong knowledge of luxury sales operations, retail excellence, and project business. - Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. - Ability to travel extensively across India as required. - MBA or equivalent degree in Sales/Marketing/Operations preferred.
