Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware and software troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch technical support to our faculty, staff, and students. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity problems. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Maintain and update IT inventory records. Assist in the deployment of new IT projects and technologies. Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and data protection policies. Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role. Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems. Strong knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques. Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Additional Information This position requires on-site presence at our Bengaluru campus; remote work is not an option. Candidates must be willing to undergo a face-to-face interview process.
