Assistant Finance Manager

Job Description – Assistant Finance ManagerPosition Overview:

The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, preparing reports, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. This role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to assist in strategic decision-making to drive financial efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
• Support in monitoring cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Assist in developing and implementing internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Review financial transactions and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and support business decisions.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reduce costs.
• Guide and mentor junior finance team members where necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (Master’s / MBA preferred).
• Professional certification (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in finance, accounting, or auditing (2–5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and taxation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
