πŸ“Œ Job Title: Assistant Accounts Manager πŸ“ Department: Accounts & Finance πŸ“‹ Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head 🏒 Industry: Automobile Dealership / Corporate Office / Manufacturing / Trading (as applicable) πŸ“ Job Summary:The Assistant Accounts Manager is responsible for supporting the Accounts Manager in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company. This role includes managing general ledger functions, preparing financial reports, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. 🎯 Key Roles & Responsibilities:Accounts Payable & Receivable: Monitor and maintain records of customer payments and vendor bills. Follow up on outstanding receivables and process vendor payments on time. Bookkeeping & General Ledger: Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Banking & Reconciliations: Prepare daily bank reconciliation statements. Coordinate with banks for transactions, RTGS/NEFT, and account management. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Support in tax assessments and audits. Petty Cash & Expense Management: Manage daily petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation. Verify staff reimbursement claims and ensure adherence to policies. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and MIS reports. Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Audit & Documentation: Coordinate with internal/external auditors and support audit activities. Maintain proper records of invoices, bills, and other financial documents. Coordination & Support: Liaise with other departments (sales, HR, workshop, etc.) for transaction details. Assist the senior management in financial decision-making and planning. πŸ“š Qualification & Skills Required:Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent Experience: 2–4 years in a similar accounting role Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Tally/ERP software Proficiency in Excel and MS Office Good understanding of taxation (GST, TDS, etc.) Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work under deadlines
