Job Description

Position: Assistant Manager / Manager Accounts

Experience:

Qualification:

Role & responsibilities

Ash Handling Plant (AHP) Operations & Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Manage
AHP O&M cost centres
, budgeting, cost tracking, and monthly MIS.
Process and verify vendor invoices, measurement sheets, ash disposal bills, and service contracts.
Handle
parts procurement
: PR/RFQ preparation, price comparison, PO coordination, follow-up, and GRN tracking.
Support vendor management, performance evaluation, and timely payments.
Ensure compliance with
GST, TDS, audit requirements
, and statutory norms.
Coordinate with O&M, Stores, and Procurement teams for material availability and inventory control.
Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for management review.

Required Skills

Knowledge of thermal power plant operations, especially
AHP systems
.
Strong accounting, cost control, and procurement understanding.
Proficiency in
SAP/ERP
, MS Excel, and financial reporting.
Good communication, vendor coordination, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven.
Strong negotiation and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
