Assistant Account Manager

Position: Accounts Executive
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daybook, journal, ledger, and daily accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
• Handle GST filings for both Proprietorship and Private Limited entities (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC reconciliation).
• Manage purchase and sales entries, bank reconciliation, petty cash, and vendor payments.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, document management, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams for invoices, payments, and supporting documents.
• Maintain TDS records, reconciling input/output GST, and assist in preparing annual financial statements.
• Work with CA and auditor for monthly and yearly compliance.
• Handle basic Excel tasks (formulas, GST calculation sheet, pivot table preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GST, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and basic statutory compliance.
• Ability to prepare P&L and Balance Sheet independently.
• Experience with daybook management and general accounting entries.
• Basic working knowledge of TDS, depreciation, and monthly closing.
• Good command of Excel (sum formulas, VLOOKUP preferred, pivot table is a plus).
• Experience with Tally / Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Education

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
