Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Guwahati for an Area Sales Manager. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategies, expanding the customer base, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring the sales team, building strong relationships with clients, analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires frequent visits to clients and fostering channel partner relationships to drive business growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
  • Proficiency in business development, market analysis, and implementing sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in customer relationship management and building strong networks with clients and partners.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay motivated in a results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the consumer electronics or electrical industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
