We are looking for an experienced Application Support Consultant specializing in Windchill to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible to perform Configurations at UI level, Bulk Data Corrections, Data Validation in Windchill Production system. Will be responsible for smooth operations of PLM functionalities and features supporting the end users and Customers. The Application Support Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams, Service Owners/application owners, Business Owners, to maintain robust PLM functionalities and workflow serving the end users.In your new role you will:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Utilities to enable Windchill applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and develop solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts.
- Develop reports using QML.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill-related issues, including performance with data integrity, and security in mind.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all Application Support activities.
- Work on Incident Management, Service Request Fulfilment as in a L2 role.
- Collaborate with L3 functional and L3 technical teams to resolve problems.
- Work with external Business partners and guide the team whenever necessary.
- Resolve Major tickets within the defined SLA.
- Get the Handover from Project.
- Documentation of SOP procedures and ensure Operational Excellence.
- Work with deployment team to deploy the developed scripts during the Project release.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in Windchill development or Windchill Maintenance or Windchill Migration with a strong understanding of Windchill Architecture, Windchill Business Administration and knowledge in Windchill Database structures.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and Oracle procedures.
- Strong understanding of PLM concepts, data modelling, and data governance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Willing to work in shift. Especially support European time zone.
- Process oriented mindset. Able to Optimise and Automate using latest technologies.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (scrum or kanban) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Added advantage if you are ITIL certified
