About the Role

We’re hiring a skilled Android Developer with strong experience in React Native to architect, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications. You'll work closely with product teams, backend engineers, and UI/UX designers to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences.

Experience in Java/Kotlin and Python is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

React Native App Development

• Build and maintain mobile apps using React Native with clean, modular, scalable architecture.
• Implement reusable components and optimise app performance for Android & iOS.
• Integrate with backend APIs (REST/GraphQL) ensuring smooth data flow.

Android Ecosystem Expertise

• Work with native Android modules when required.
• Debug platform-specific issues and optimise build performance.
• Improve app reliability through structured testing and error handling.

Core Mobile Features

• Implement authentication flows (JWT, OAuth, OTP, biometric).
• Integrate payment systems (Razorpay, Paytm, Cashfree, etc.).
• Maps & location services (Google Maps/Mapbox).
• Local storage (AsyncStorage, SQLite, MMKV).
• Push notifications & analytics via Firebase.
• Offline-first features with caching & sync logic.

Deployment & Release Management

• Generate release builds, sign APK/AAB files.
• Knowledge of Play Store / App Store deployment.
• Experience with app versioning, beta releases (TestFlight/Play Console).
• Understanding of permissions, privacy policies & compliance guidelines.
• End-to-end “go live” experience is a major plus.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work with designers to deliver pixel-perfect UI/UX.
• Collaborate with backend/API teams to resolve integration issues.
• Participate in architecture discussions, feature planning, and code reviews.
• Maintain documentation and help improve internal processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 1.5–4 years of hands-on experience in mobile development.
• Strong in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, mobile lifecycle.
• Experience with Android Studio, debugging tools, and performance profilers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Java/Kotlin experience for native modules.
• Python knowledge for automation or backend interactions.
• Familiarity with:
• Redux / Zustand / MobX / Recoil
• Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Remote Config
• App analytics (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)
• CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise)
• Understanding of mobile security, app optimisation & protection.
