We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented analyst to join our team and contribute to our research efforts in the Metals Mining sector. As an analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data, industry trends, and competitor activities.

• Role : Analyst
• Qualification : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, finance, marketing, engineering or a related field.
• Experience : 1-3 years
• Location : Mumbai (Work from Office)
• RM : Project Manager
• Candidate Industry :Market research, consulting, research and information, KPOs, Brokerage houses, Petroleum/Oil Gas
• Responsibilities :
• Liaise with internal team and clients to develop and deliver bulletins, databases, insights in report/dashboard format.
• Conduct comprehensive secondary research on Metals Mining industry, covering trends, technologies, regulations, and competitors.
• Conduct primary interviews, if required, to gather information or understand expert insights/views on industry or project objectives.
• Conduct industry research, filter, and identify key events in the metals mining industry and macro-economic environment to develop high frequency bulletins for client-use.
• Analysing market dynamics – supply, demand, prices, export-import, competitor performance by acquiring data from multiple sources to build reports and self-serve dashboard capabilities using visual analytics tools like Power BI
• Mining, cleaning, designing, and maintaining data systems and databases, including troubleshooting potential issues
• Demonstrate advanced Excel skills, including macros, for streamlined data management, modelling, and reporting.
• Maintain meticulous record-keeping and file management practices for accurate and organized reports and data.
• Prepare whitepapers, and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Extreme attention to detail to ensure error-free and timely delivery of reports.
• Personal Attributes:
• Proficiency in Excel with complex data modelling abilities and other MS tools like PPT, Word, etc.
• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skillset with ability to interpret aggregate a range of requirements and articulate business objectives.
• High level of flexibility with ability to readily adapt to change with eagerness to learn new concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Always learning and seeking ways to make things better.
• You understand that the team’s success is your own success and shared responsibility. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good to have
• Preference to candidates with data analytics and Geology background
• Experience in metals mining, commodity analysis, shipping logistics, automobile or similar industry
• Proficiency in other tools like Tableau, Qlik, Python, R, SQL
• Understanding of AI tools
