Manager / Senior Manager – New Client Development (Ad Sales: Technology Sector)-Strictly from Non-Media Background

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and onboard

    new clients from the Technology sector

    — including IT companies, electronics manufacturers, telecom brands, B2B SaaS firms, startups, and tech-enabled enterprises.
  • Build strong pipelines of advertising prospects across

    Delhi NCR, Gurgaon, Noida, and pan-India tech hubs

    .
  • Position Rajasthan Patrika as a

    strategic partner for tech companies

    looking to strengthen brand visibility, recruitment campaigns, or product launches.

2. Strategic Sales & Solution Design

  • Develop

    customized advertising proposals

    integrating

    Print, Radio, OOH, and Digital

    channels to deliver 360° communication impact.
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach—understanding clients’ tech offerings, go-to-market plans, and communication needs to propose relevant visibility campaigns.
  • Align Patrika’s media solutions with the client’s brand narrative, product positioning, or innovation story.

3. Relationship Management

  • Build deep, trusted relationships with

    CMOs, Brand Heads, Marketing Directors, and Corporate Communication teams

    within the technology ecosystem.
  • Manage client expectations, ensuring high-quality servicing, campaign delivery, and renewals.
  • Serve as a long-term media strategy partner to help clients plan sustained brand presence across markets.

4. Market Research & Intelligence

  • Stay updated on

    emerging tech categories, product launches, and digital transformation trends

    .
  • Track marketing spends and advertising patterns in the technology sector.
  • Monitor competition and identify opportunities for Rajasthan Patrika’s platforms in the tech marketing space.

5. Campaign Coordination & Execution

  • Collaborate with internal teams — Creative, Editorial, Radio, Digital, and OOH — to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate statutory, brand, and promotional ad placements.
  • Ensure that creative and media deliveries meet both client expectations and Rajasthan Patrika’s quality benchmarks.

6. Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets for the Technology vertical.
  • Drive cross-platform revenue through integrated media offerings.
  • Create case studies and success stories to attract similar clients and sectors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new technology clients onboarded.
  • Revenue achievement vs. targets from the Technology vertical.
  • Client retention and repeat business ratio.
  • Proposal-to-closure conversion rate.
  • Campaign quality and client satisfaction scores.


Candidate Profile

Essential

  • 8–12 years of experience

    in

    Technology / IT / Telecom / SaaS / Electronics / B2B tech sales or partnerships

    .
  • Strictly non-media background

    (from the tech industry, not an ad agency or media sales).
  • Proven track record in business development, corporate sales, or client acquisition in the tech domain.
  • Excellent understanding of how tech brands communicate, market, and position themselves.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with senior technology and marketing leaders.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Based in

    Delhi

    , with willingness to travel to NCR and other major tech hubs (Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Mumbai).

Desirable

  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Technology Management, or Business Development.
  • Exposure to integrated marketing or brand strategy projects within the tech domain.
  • Understanding of brand-building, employer branding, and B2B communication.
