Job Title: Accounts Manager Department: Finance & Accounts Type: Full-Time Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations, publishing financial statements, overseeing accounting operations, and managing the accounting team. Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. Supervise and guide the accounting team, ensuring high performance and development. Implement and monitor internal controls and financial procedures. Manage bank relationships and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Prepare and file statutory returns including GST, TDS, income tax, etc. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred). CA / CMA / CPA certification is an advantage. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.). Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Preferred Qualities:Experience in [industry – e.g., manufacturing, IT services, retail]. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
