Job Title: Accounts Head

Location: Rajkot
Department: Accounts & Finance
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

The Accounts Head will be responsible for leading the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, the ability to manage a team, and a solid understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Management

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger.
  • Ensure timely preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, fund management, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations and maintenance of accounting records.

Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure strict adherence to GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory compliances.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during statutory and internal audits.
  • Maintain updated documentation for all compliance-related processes.

Reporting & Financial Analysis

  • Prepare and present MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review.
  • Conduct variance analysis, cost control reviews, and profitability assessments.
  • Provide strategic insights to support decision-making and financial planning.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team to ensure high performance and accuracy.
  • Review team outputs, allocate tasks, and provide necessary training.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and established standards.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Oversee vendor reconciliations, payments, and credit terms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as Admin, HR, Sales, and Dispatch for smooth financial operations.
  • Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and auditors as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA/Inter CA/MBA Finance preferred (optional).
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST Portal, MS Excel, and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
