Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account and Finance Manager to join our prestigious company in Pune. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and update budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Manage audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Cost Management: Implement cost control measures and assess financial risks and opportunities.
• Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize financial resources.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA/CPA/CFA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the luxury retail or jewellery industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and MS Excel. Familiarity with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and build relationships with external partners.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
