Accounts and Finance Manager

Objective

To lead the organization s finance and accounting functions with strategic oversight, ensuring robust financial controls, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, and effective financial planning to support business growth and profitability.

Qualification

• M.Com / B.Com

Experience

• 8-10 years

  of relevant experience in

  Accounts & Finance

  , preferably in the

  manufacturing industry

  Tally / ERP systems

• In-depth knowledge of

  GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, statutory audits

• Experience in

  MIS reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis

• Working knowledge of

  Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), fund management

• Exposure to

  Import-Export accounting

  and related documentation

Key Responsibilities

1. Head the

   Accounts & Finance function

   , including finalization of

   accounts, balance sheet, and financial statements

   .
2. Ensure timely and accurate

   statutory compliances

   GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other regulatory filings.
3. Manage

   banking relationships

   , including working capital limits, BGs, LCs, and cash flow planning.
4. Oversee

   import-export financial operations

   and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
5. Prepare, analyse, and present

   monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports

   to senior management.
6. Lead

   budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

   processes with variance analysis.
7. Monitor and optimize

   costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis

   .
8. Design, implement, and strengthen

   financial controls, SOPs, and accounting policies

   .
9. Supervise

   accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination

   , and daily accounting operations.
10. Coordinate and lead

    internal, statutory, and tax audits

    , ensuring timely closure of audit points.
11. Handle complex accounting issues, reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.
12. Maintain

    Directors accounts

    and oversee subsidiary / group company financials.
13. Mentor, train, and performance-manage the accounts and finance team.
14. Liaise with auditors, bankers, consultants, vendors, and government authorities.
15. Provide

    strategic financial insights and risk assessments

    to support management decisions and business expansion.
