An Accountant is a financial professional who is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting a company's financial transactions. They play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations. Bookkeeping and Record Keeping: Manage the general ledger, perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, and reconcile accounts. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and analyze variances to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Tax Compliance: Compute taxes owed, prepare and file tax returns, and ensure timely payment in compliance with relevant tax laws. Auditing and Controls: Conduct internal audits to ensure financial records are accurate and systems are up-to-date. Implement and maintain accounting controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide insights to management for strategic decision-making, such as cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, and manage payroll and expense tracking. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial activities and records adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and other relevant regulations. Skills and Qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications like Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are often a strong plus and may be required for certain roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally). Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and financial modeling). Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (GAAP/IFRS). Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Knowledge of tax laws and regulatory requirements. Automobile industry experience is added advantage. Preferring Male candidates.
