About Mynd and Bloom

Mynd and Bloom are growing organizations focused on operational excellence, financial transparency, and sustainable growth. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations across both entities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage general ledger accounts for Mynd and Bloom
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process payroll entries and ensure accurate tax and benefit reporting
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
Prepare and file tax returns, sales tax, and statutory reports as required
Support audits and provide documentation to external auditors or advisors
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations
Maintain organized financial records and improve accounting processes

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as an Accountant (2+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple entities or clients simultaneously
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
