Job Description

Position: Accountant Department: Finance & Accounts Employment Type: Full-time OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data. Handle accounts payable and receivable processes. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor expenses and perform variance analysis. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Process invoices, payments, and payroll when required. Provide financial insights to help management make informed decisions. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems). Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred SkillsProfessional certifications (CA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
