Job Title: Account Head Location: - Lucknow Company: 4S Electronic & Electrical - Home Appliances Distributorship Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Account Head to lead our accounting and financial operations within our home appliances distributorship. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role is key to driving financial performance and strategic decision-making as we grow our business in the home appliances sector. Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight: Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and manage the annual budget and financial forecasting processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic business decisions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies. Prepare for and manage external audits, ensuring all financial practices are in accordance with statutory laws. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day operations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the accounting team. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial controls. Implement best practices in financial management to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends and advising management on potential risks and opportunities. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align financial goals with business objectives and operational needs. Provide financial insights to support promotional strategies, inventory management, and customer credit policies. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 8 years in a managerial position. Proven experience in financial management within the distribution or retail sector, preferably in home appliances. Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
