Account Head

🔹 Position: Account Head (CA)

🔹 Location: Gurgaon (On-site / Permanent Role)

🔹 Experience Required: Around 8-10 Years

🔹 Qualification: B.Com (Mandatory), M.Com preferred

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting, Reporting & Planning

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and monthly/quarterly/yearly closures
• Finalisation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and Companies Act
• Preparation of MIS, variance analysis, budgeting and

  capital-related financial planning / capital budgeting support

• Monitoring cash flows, working capital and financial discipline
• Ensure accurate accounting, provisioning and balance sheet reconciliations

Audit, Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including ROC, Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF etc.
• Prepare audit schedules, coordinate audits and respond to auditor queries
• Strengthen accounting policies and internal control systems
• Drive preparedness for internal reviews, compliance checks and external audits

Inventory & Asset Control

• Oversee inventory accounting and valuation
• Conduct and supervise periodic physical inventory verification
• Ensure reconciliation of physical inventory with books
• Monitor inventory movements, ageing and controls to prevent leakages or misstatements

Stakeholder Coordination & Governance

• Liaise with auditors, consultants, bankers and advisors
• Support financial reviews, special audits and due-diligence related exercises
• Ensure timely completion of regulatory and financial requirements

Systems & Process Improvement

• Improve efficiency through structured reporting and automation initiatives
• Supervise finance team and improve closure timelines and reporting discipline
• Review and strengthen ERP and accounting systems

Candidate Profile

✅ Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8–10 years of relevant experience

✅ Strong background in corporate finance, audit and compliances

✅ Experience in structured / growth-stage organisations preferred

✅ Prior involvement in diligence or regulatory review assignments will be an advantage

✅ Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation and corporate law

✅ Strong leadership, ownership mindset and high ethical standards

✅ Excellent coordination and communication skills
