Job Title: Account Executive

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance in financial reporting, support audits, and assist in the month-end close process. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a thorough understanding of accounting standards, statutory compliance, and ERP systems. The candidate will also contribute to MIS reporting and financial analysis to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

Manage daily accounting transactions, including AP, AR, General Ledger, and reconciliations.

Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing of books.

Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

Manage statutory compliances – GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, etc.

Liaise with statutory, tax, and internal auditors to ensure smooth audits.

Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

MIS & Reporting

Develop and manage MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management and business heads.

Track and analyze key business metrics (Revenue, Costs, Margins, KPIs).

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and schedules.

Automate reporting processes and improve data accuracy where possible.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP, IFRS preferred).

Hands-on experience in ERP systems (Tally/SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).

Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

Knowledge of statutory compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com with 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience in MIS reporting will be an added advantage.
