Account Director (Mainline Advertising)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring seamless communication, trust, and long-term partnerships.
• Oversee end-to-end execution of campaigns, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Partner with clients to understand brand goals, market challenges, and consumer insights, developing integrated strategies that drive measurable results.
• Work closely with internal teams – creative, production, strategy, and media – to ensure cohesive, insight-driven, and impactful campaigns.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth, upselling, and new business development within existing client relationships.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for assigned accounts, ensuring profitability and efficient resource utilization.
• Lead, guide, and inspire account management teams, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Anticipate challenges, resolve issues quickly, and ensure proactive communication with both clients and internal teams.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience (8–12 years) in account management/client servicing within

  mainline advertising agencies

• Strong understanding of brand strategy, consumer behavior, and integrated marketing communications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale campaigns with tight deadlines and budgets.
• Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and account profitability.
• Leadership experience with a track record of managing, mentoring, and motivating teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.
