arut is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Zonal Sales Manager Responsible for leading the overall sales strategy for the India Agri Drone business Candidate will partner closely with the dealers for Agricultural machinery and equipment to spread awareness of Agri drones to the agricultural base that is farmers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- To take accountability in building a robust Sales plan based on inputs from management / Head of Sales & Marketing of Marut, towards delivering a robust sales pipeline/funnel.
- Guide the sales team on lead generation and sales conversion.
- Achieve assigned sales targets.
- Develop a strong link with the target customer base, in order to create demand and work on the prospects from end to end i.e., till the closure of the deal.
- Coordinate and communicate - 365 degrees i.e., by timely reporting to management and timely feedback and inputs to the sales team and maintain positive and constructive peer relationships.
- Ensure a high lead conversion rate by coaching the sales team for peak performance
- Build, enhance & sustain high-level/strategic relationships with key customers.
- Collaboratively discussing and refining sales proposals, in discussions with customers, technical team or senior team members as the need may be and drive them to closure/conversion into contracts.
- Onboarding dealerships or business partners or executing other business models from state as per business requirements.

Operations
- New dealer acquisition and work on leads
- Ensure on time billing, delivery and collection of payments from clients
- Fulfilment of Sales Budget via New Sales acquisition
Knowledge And Skill Required
People Management/Interpersonal Skills
- Meeting on daily basis with Sales Team.
Communication
- Give presentations to senior management team
- Developing new ideas to achieve sales growth
- Computer Skills is Must.
Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Engineering, MBA Marketing/Sales
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Channel sales and dealer development network
- Agri, Tractors, Farm Machinery
- Proactive & result oriented
- Able to communicate extremely well and relate to, at all levels in the organization.
- Team player
- Proven work experience as a Regional / Territory Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
