Role:
We are looking for a highly collaborative and proactive Web Developer to join the Content Marketing team and manage the continuous development and optimization of whatfix.com , our blog , and subdomains like usecases.whatfix.com . You’ll play a pivotal role in building a modern, high-performing marketing website that fuels traffic growth, SEO performance, and conversion outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the Whatfix.com website ecosystem.
- Write clean, reusable, and scalable HTML, CSS, JS, and jQuery code.
- Build and customize components using WordPress, ACF Fields, and Elementor.
- Work with MySQL databases and manage repositories via Git and Bitbucket.
- Collaborate closely with designers (UX/UI), content managers, and BizApps team.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retros, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot issues, implement SEO best practices, and improve page performance.
- Coordinate deployments and release notes across staging and production environments using WP Engine and Local WP.

Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience managing WordPress-based websites
- Strong proficiency in frontend web development and UX optimization
- Experience with custom post types, filters, and hooks in WordPress
- Familiarity with SEO technical fundamentals (404s, canonical tags, internal linking, etc.)
- A collaborative mindset and experience working in agile teams
- Ability to independently own and deliver web projects from start to finish
- Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional marketing environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working with marketing teams or SaaS brands
- Exposure to performance tuning tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Lighthouse)
- Basic knowledge of analytics/event tracking (Google Tag Manager, GA4)
- Familiarity with design handoff tools like Figma
