Job description
What you'll do
1. Warehouse Operations Management:
· Supervise and manage all activities related to warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
· Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped within established timelines.
· Oversee the proper labeling, packaging, and handling of products to avoid damages.
2. Inventory Management:
· Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock audits and cycle counts.
· Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations and coordinate with the procurement team for stock replenishment.
· Implement inventory tracking systems and ensure proper storage and rotation of products (FIFO - First In, First Out).
· Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and work with relevant teams to resolve these issues

3.Team Leadership & Training:
· Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure high levels of performance, productivity, and adherence to safety protocols.
· Provide training to new and existing staff on warehouse processes, equipment usage, safety guidelines, and company policies.
· Assign tasks and monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support as needed.
4. Safety & Compliance:
· Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant workplace health and safety regulations.
· Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.
· Ensure warehouse facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order.
5. Process Improvement & Efficiency:
· Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and increase throughput.
· Implement lean management principles to minimize waste and improve overall productivity.
· Use data-driven analysis to optimize workflows and identify areas for improvement.
6. Reporting & Documentation:
· Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, shipments, and returns.
· Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
· Provide reports and updates to senior management on operational issues and performance metrics.
7. Vendor and Logistics Coordination:
· Coordinate with logistics partners and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
· Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are processed efficiently and meet delivery schedules.
· Handle any discrepancies or issues related to shipments, damages, or returns.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
