Job Description

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, return stock handling, loading/unloading supervision, and maintaining accurate stock records. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, hands-on warehouse/store handling experience, and the ability to manage end-to-end store functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store & Inventory Management

  • Maintain overall store operations ensuring proper storage, stacking, and safety of all materials.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, stock audits, and reconciliation with system records.
  • Keep track of stock in/out on a daily basis and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement/operations for replenishment.

2. Return Stock Management

  • Oversee the receipt and verification of returned items from customers or dispatch.
  • Inspect quantity, condition, and documentation for all returned goods.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all return entries, discrepancies, and damaged goods.

3. Loading & Unloading Supervision

  • Supervise loading and unloading of materials into/from vehicles and ensure safe handling of goods.
  • Coordinate with drivers, logistics partners, and dispatch team for smooth stock movement.
  • Ensure items are properly labelled, counted, and placed in designated locations after unloading.

4. Store Maintenance & Compliance

  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the store area.
  • Implement and follow company SOPs for inventory, storage, loading/unloading, and return management.
  • Train store helpers or assistants for efficient store operations.

5. Process Improvement

  • Suggest and implement improvements for stock accuracy, warehouse efficiency and return handling.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines.

6. Staff management

  • Train, supervise and motivating the warehouse staff, to achieve productivity targets while adhering to company policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience as Store Manager / Store In-charge / Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and return stock processes.
  • Ability to supervise loading/unloading and perform physical stock checks.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, inventory software preferred).
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
