Warehouse Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities: Operational Management: Ensure daily warehouse operations are executed efficiently across inbound, outbound, inventory, and returns management. Achieve client SLAs and TATs consistently. Manpower Management: Plan, deploy, and monitor daily workforce based on volume forecasts. Coordinate with 3P manpower vendors to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak and lean periods. Client Coordination: Support client requirements and resolve issues in coordination with account managers and central operations. Maintain high standards of client satisfaction. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment through strict adherence to safety protocols. Conduct regular audits and implement corrective measures. Process Adherence & Improvement: Drive process compliance in all areas. Identify operational gaps and work on continuous improvement initiatives with the central process excellence team. Inventory Accuracy: Ensure proper stock management, timely cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory accuracy and avoid pilferage or damage. Reporting & MIS: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports related to productivity, manpower, dispatches, and stock movement. Escalate issues proactively. Team Management & Development: Train, motivate, and mentor on-ground staff to ensure high morale and performance. Drive a culture of discipline, ownership, and operational excellence. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse/facility management, preferably in a multi-client fulfillment setup. Exposure to B2B, B2C, or e-commerce operations is a must. Skills & Attributes: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Good leadership and interpersonal skills Hands-on knowledge of WMS and basic MS Excel Familiarity with compliance, safety norms, and labor regulations Willingness to work extended hours during peak loads
