Job Description

Role & responsibilities As a Manager/Senior Manager PTL Business, you will be responsible for expanding and managing Prozos PTL freight network with a focus on distribution/milk-run logistics, ensuring seamless vendor onboarding, client serviceability, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize PTL logistics, delivery performance, and process adherence. This vertical operates within the broader Prozo Logistics Network (PLN), encompassing various freight types. Key Responsibilities: PTL Vendor Network Expansion Identify, onboard, and manage local, regional, and national PTL freight vendors, with a focus on distribution/milk run logistics Ensure vendor compliance with Prozos service quality and operational standards. Client Onboarding & First-Time Right (FTR) Execution Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth PTL client onboarding. Drive First-Time Right (FTR) execution by aligning services with client requirements. PTL Operations & Performance Management Oversee shipment lifecycle, including: Pick-ups and deliveries TAT adherence & failure management Conduct RCA and CAPA for TAT breaches to improve service reliability. Commercial & Pricing Support Assist in designing competitive PTL pricing models in coordination with the sales team. Ensure pricing aligns with operational feasibility and market benchmarks. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration Lead and mentor the PTL operations team to drive efficiency and service excellence. Work closely with internal teams (sales, tech, and operations) and external partners to enhance PTL business operations. Preferred candidate profile 5-10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 5 years in PTL/Distribution/Milk-run operations. Strong expertise in vendor management, delivery TATs, and failure resolution. Proven ability to conduct RCA and CAPA for operational improvements. Experience in commercial discussions and pricing strategy support. Excellent team leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field.
