As an experienced Visual Designer within HCLSoftware’s Business & Industries Applications
group, you will help define and elevate the visual identity of our Martech, and Retail/Commerce
product lines. This role plays a central part in translating complex industry concepts—spanning
customer engagement, personalization, digital commerce, data platforms, and enterprise
operations—into visuals that resonate with business leaders and technical buyers alike.
You will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Industry Solutions, Customer
Success, Sales Enablement, and Central Marketing. While your primary alignment is with the
Business & Industries Applications Products team, you will also maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship with Central Marketing to ensure full adherence to HCLSoftware’s global brand guidelines, design systems, and creative standards. This structure ensures every asset you create is both industry-relevant and brand-consistent.
This is a high-impact role for a designer who brings strong conceptual thinking, a refined visual
aesthetic, and a deep understanding of how visual communication drives clarity, adoption, and
differentiation in competitive vertical markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand and Creative Leadership Across Industries
● Maintain and evolve the visual identity for HCLSoftware’s Business & Industries
Applications, ensuring clarity and consistency across Martech, Retail/Commerce, and
vertical-specific solutions.
● Shape visual narratives that express industry challenges, product capabilities,
workflows, and customer value.
● Work closely with Central Marketing to interpret and uphold corporate brand standards,
ensuring all creative assets reflect HCLSoftware’s visual identity system.
End-to-End Asset & Content Creation
● Design high-quality assets for solution briefs, use-case diagrams, whitepapers,
brochures, digital ads, landing pages, event materials, and executive presentations.
● Translate complex product information—AI-driven personalization, commerce
optimization, customer data activation, enterprise security, etc.—into clear, compelling
visuals.
● Build scalable visual storytelling systems for industry roadmaps, product architectures,
and customer journeys.
Modern Design Tools & Workflow Mastery
● Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects),
Figma, Sketch, Webflow, and similar production tools.
● Utilize advanced AI-enhanced creation tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, RunwayML) to
accelerate creative development.
● Optimize assets for websites, industry solution hubs, partner portals, digital commerce
environments, social channels, and print.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product Management SMEs, Sales/GTM teams and Central Marketing to ensure
visuals accurately reflect vertical-specific solutions and customer needs.
● Support Sales Enablement with high-impact visuals for demos, workshops, pitch decks,
and customer engagements.
● Collaborate with Central Marketing on brand alignment, visual governance, content
standards, and campaign cohesion.
Performance, Innovation & Scalability
● Apply user-centric design thinking to create visuals that drive adoption, understanding,
and differentiation of HCLSoftware’s industry offerings.
● Refine creative outputs based on industry insights, customer feedback, competitive
analysis, and GTM performance data.
● Introduce scalable design practices and reusable systems to support diverse vertical
teams and repeatable content creation.
Requirements:
● 4–6 years of professional visual design experience, ideally within B2B SaaS,
enterprise applications, Martech, or Retail/Commerce technology.
● Strong portfolio showcasing mastery in visual storytelling for both business and technical
audiences.
● Expertise in design systems, typography, iconography, motion graphics, and responsive
layouts.
● Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-industry environment with evolving priorities.
● Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting creative concepts to cross-
functional and senior stakeholders.
● Ability to collaborate with a central brand function and consistently uphold global brand
standards.
