Job Profile – Sales & Marketing Head / VP (India)

Position Title:

Head / Vice President – Sales & Marketing (India)

Department:

Sales, Marketing & Business Development

Reporting To:

Managing Director / CEO

Role Objective:

To lead and scale both Sales and Marketing functions across India, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, nationwide brand visibility, and strong customer engagement. The role demands strategic vision, execution excellence, and leadership in driving both top-line growth and brand equity.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership

  • Develop & implement India-wide sales strategies with annual/quarterly targets.
  • Build and manage dealer, distributor, and retail networks across India.
  • Drive sales forecasting, collections, and credit control.
  • Identify and acquire key accounts, institutional clients, and channel partners.

Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop integrated marketing plans (digital, offline, influencer, events).
  • Manage brand positioning, visibility, and campaigns (ATL/BTL/Digital).
  • Work with product team for launches, packaging, and pricing strategies.
  • Oversee social media, PR, exhibitions, and trade shows.

Team & Leadership:

  • Build and manage Sales & Marketing teams (RSMs, ASMs, Marketing Managers).
  • Conduct training, motivation, and performance reviews.
  • Drive a performance-driven culture across the organization.
  • Market Intelligence & Innovation:
  • Track consumer trends, competitor strategies, and industry shifts.
  • Use data analytics to optimize marketing ROI and sales efficiency.
  • Recommend product innovation and category expansion.

Reporting & MIS:

  • Present business reviews, sales dashboards, and marketing ROI reports to top management.
  • Maintain accurate performance metrics (sales vs. collection, campaign impact).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
  • 8–20 years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership roles.
  • Proven success in scaling sales and building brand presence in India.
  • Strong knowledge of dealer/distributor models, digital marketing, and branding.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Passion for music or familiarity with musical instruments.
  • Global outlook with experience handling exports and international sales.
  • Knowledge of music education markets (schools, academies, institutions) is a plus.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
