Description
As the Vice President of Human Resources at our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing the human resource strategy that aligns with the overall business plan and strategic direction. Your responsibilities will include overseeing key areas such as succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational performance, training, development, and compensation. You will provide strategic leadership by effectively communicating HR needs and plans to the core leadership team. Your responsibilities will also involve developing HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of global business objectives. Acting as a strategic advisor to executive/senior management on organizational and management issues will be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for implementing competitive and cost-effective compensation and benefits plans, driving HR initiatives to promote a positive organizational culture, and enhancing employee engagement across diverse cultures and geographies. In addition, you will develop comprehensive recruiting and retention plans to meet human capital needs aligned with strategic goals. Your role will involve overseeing global recruitment efforts, implementing talent management and succession planning strategies, collaborating with regional HR teams, managing internal communications, and driving a performance management system to enhance employee performance worldwide. You will be expected to provide guidance to managers on performance feedback, coaching, and development planning, analyze performance data for improvement, ensure global HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, address employee concerns and grievances, establish and communicate HR policies, and support regional HR teams in handling complex employee relations issues. Your role will also involve developing a global learning and development framework, promoting training opportunities and career development pathways, championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, monitoring diversity metrics, and ensuring HR practices comply with industry standards. Collaborating with legal agencies to mitigate HR-related risks and providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership based on HR analytics will also be part of your responsibilities. Mandatory experience and skills required for this role include a Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with at least 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5 years of executive HR experience and 5 years of international HR experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, as well as proficiency in HRIS systems and global employment laws, are essential. An HR certification and willingness to travel as needed are also required.
