Your Mission As USA Trade Lane Sales Director , you will be Beeontrade’s commercial spearhead for all freight and trade lane development between India and the USA . Based in India and working closely with global teams, you will own the go-to-market , sales development , and carrier relationships for this high-growth corridor. You’ll play a strategic and tactical role—leading procurement, pricing, product design, and customer acquisition for both exports from India to the USA and imports from the USA to India . You will work across Ocean, Air, and 3PL service lines to scale Beeontrade’s presence, customer base, and revenue across this critical trade lane. Your focus is developing high-conversion sales pipelines, securing carrier partnerships, responding to global RFQs, and enabling smooth execution across both ends of the lane. What You’ll Do Commercial Strategy & Sales Execution Own and drive trade lane strategy for USA–India and India–USA freight movements Lead all business development efforts in India focused on U.S.-bound shippers Collaborate with U.S.-based Sales and Solutions teams to support global accounts Support sales campaigns, webinars, customer proposals, and partnership outreach Track take rates, yield, and trade lane margin performance with weekly reporting Carrier Procurement & Product Development Develop scalable Ocean and Air products for both export and import flows Procure competitive rates and space with leading carriers and consolidators Lead contract negotiations with carriers and NVOCC partners Build relationships with global and regional airlines and ocean carriers Respond to RFQs with pricing strategies customized to U.S.-India opportunities Trade Lane Growth & Enablement Act as the bridge between India operations and North America GTM efforts Lead pricing and procurement for verticals such as consumer goods, electronics, and apparel Help design bundled solutions involving customs, warehousing, and last-mile in the U.S. Support cross-functional training and enablement for local teams in India Educate internal teams about USA trade requirements, lane idiosyncrasies, and compliance P&L Accountability & Performance Management Monitor and manage profitability and performance across trade lane accounts Contribute to Beeontrade’s global revenue, conversion, and retention goals Lead coordination for tender management and global RFPs involving this lane Who You Are 10+ years in international freight forwarding, with deep India-USA trade lane experience Proven sales hunter and relationship builder with global clients and vendors Strategic thinker with operational rigor and attention to margin & service KPIs Skilled at cross-border collaboration and stakeholder communication Familiar with pricing tools, RFQ software, and carrier contract terms Able to travel as required for customer visits, carrier negotiations, and team summits You Bring Expertise across Ocean, Air, and 3PL freight solutions Deep understanding of the U.S. freight market, import/export regulations, and logistics infrastructure Strong network of carrier and vendor relationships in both India and USA Entrepreneurial spirit, drive to build, and ownership mentality Confidence to act as the voice of the customer and lane owner in global meetings Why Join Beeontrade?
