Role Description

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • • UI/UX: Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens for web/mobile; build click-through prototypes; maintain a lightweight design system (tokens, components, accessibility basics); prepare developer handoffs with specs/assets; review builds and file UI/UX issues.
  • • Content & Social: Plan and publish weekly content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts/Reels, and LinkedIn; write concise copy aligned to brand voice; coordinate basic creatives.
  • • SEO Basics: Do keyword research, on-page updates (titles, meta, headings, internal links), and track indexing.
  • • Paid Experiments: Run small tests on Meta/Google Ads with clear hypothesis, budget, targeting, creatives, and success metrics; log results and next steps.
  • • Analytics & Reporting: Set up UTMs; maintain simple dashboards; report weekly KPIs (reach, CTR, sign-ups, CPA) and UX signals; suggest iterative improvements.
  • • Collaboration: Work with founders, PM, and engineers to scope small, shippable slices; document decisions and learnings.


Qualifications

  • • Coursework or projects in Design/Marketing/Comm/Business/CS—or a strong portfolio showing UI work and basic growth execution.
  • • Proficiency with a modern design tool (Figma preferred); understanding of typography, color, grids, responsive/mobile-first design, and usability heuristics.
  • • Comfort with social platforms, basic copywriting, and disciplined UTM tagging; familiarity with Google Analytics/Search Console/Tag Manager (basics).
  • • Git/Notion/Jira hygiene, clear communication, curiosity, and ownership mindset.


Tools You’ll Touch (as relevant)

  • Figma, FigJam, Dev Mode/Zeplin; Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Looker Studio; Meta/Google Ads; Canva/Figma for creatives; Notion/Jira; Sheets/Docs for tracking.
  • What Success Looks Like (3–6 months)
  • • UI/UX: Clear flows/prototypes that unblock product decisions; consistent, shippable UI aligned to a lean design system.
  • • Growth: Consistent content cadence with rising reach/engagement; early SEO wins (indexed pages, improved rankings on core keywords); documented experiments improving CTR/CPA and landing-page conversions.
  • • Ops: Simple dashboards and runbooks for repeatable execution; crisp handoffs to engineering.


Employment Type

  • Full-time internship (minimum 3–6 months), with potential conversion based on performance
