Role Summary

Assist in building and maintaining web applications across front-end and back-end. Responsibilities include coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python), database management, API design, debugging, testing, and collaborating with the team to improve user experience and functionality.

Role Description

A full stack developer intern assists senior developers by helping to build and maintain both the user-facing (frontEnd) and server-side (backEnd) components of web applications, gaining hands-on experience across the full range of the technology stack. Responsibilities include writing code in various languages (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python), developing and managing databases, designing APIs, debugging, testing software, and collaborating with a development team to enhance user experience and application functionality

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Front-end Development: Create user interfaces and experiences for web applications.
• Back-end Development: Build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
• Coding: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Debugging & Testing: Troubleshoot issues to ensure functionality and stability.
• Collaboration: Work with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver features.
• Learning: Stay updated on new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Coursework in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Strong coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, or Java)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and API development
• Experience through class projects, personal projects, or internships in web/app development
• Understanding of debugging, testing, and version control (Git/GitHub)
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to a collaborative team
