Position Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Transition Manager to join our client's team. This role is critical in driving and managing strategic transition initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The Transition Manager will leverage advanced methodologies to identify, analyze, and optimize transition processes. This position requires a proactive leader who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Transition and Program Management:

    Developed and implemented transition strategies aligned with client business objectives, leading the seamless execution of transition programs. Managed end-to-end program delivery following Transition Methodology & Tollgates, ensuring successful outcomes across key workstreams, including KT, IT Solutions, Quality/SLA, and Change Management.
  • Minimum 14+ years of professional experience in program management and transition.
  • Pre-Transition Engagement/RFP:

    Participated in pre-transition workshops to gain insights and fine-tune solutions, addressing stated customer needs. Collaborated with stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer requirements and expectations. Developed comprehensive questionnaires to gather detailed information on client needs, current processes, and potential challenges. Analyzed responses to tailor transition strategies effectively.
  • Due Diligence (DD):

    Led the assessment of current business processes, identified risks, and evaluated resources to ensure a smooth transition. Conducted stakeholder analysis and compliance checks to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk and Resource Management:

    Established and managed a robust risk management framework, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the transition lifecycle. Confirmed resource assignments for each transition and assisted in assessing technology and operation transition proposals.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    Facilitated governance reviews, interacted with various stakeholders, and maintained effective communication with client and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely issue resolution.
  • Knowledge Transfer (KT):

    Managed the development of training programs and creation of comprehensive documentation to equip team members with necessary skills. Provided ongoing support and mentoring, and established feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the process and address any gaps.
  • Tool Implementation and Data Management:

    Ensured the timely setup of relevant internal tools, developed and maintained dashboards, and managed data for transition parameters, tracking progress in line with business needs and transition methodology standards.
  • Team Collaboration:

    Motivated and influenced cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and drive problem-solving, contributing to the successful execution of complex transitions.
  • Change Control Review and Approval:

    Managed the change control process, ensuring all proposed changes were thoroughly reviewed and approved. Collaborated with stakeholders to assess the impact of changes on the transition plan. Maintained detailed records of change requests and approvals, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Transition Tollgate Documentation:

    Ensured the completion of transition tollgate documents and related artifacts with support from the Delivery team. Coordinated with various departments to gather necessary information and validate the accuracy of documentation. Implemented robust review processes to ensure all documents met quality standards and were submitted on time.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Maintained records of transition efforts to support program evaluations and lessons learned initiatives, and assisted in reviewing and assessing emerging requirements, technologies, and capabilities relevant to transitions.


Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Qualifications required Qualifications


  • Graduate/Post-Graduate Skills & work experience
  • Proven experience in leading transition projects and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in transition management tools and software.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial impacts of transitions.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:


  • Knowledge of the Life Insurance domain will be a significant plus as it will enable the candidate to tailor improvement to industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills/PMP/CSM Certified
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
