Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

The Transition manager will lead the transition of services between BP/GES and between GES/BPO. Projects beyond transition of services may also occur.

Job Overview:

As a Transition Manager, responsibilities will include: Creating and executing detailed transition plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resources. Coordinating with project teams and departments to ensure alignment with transition objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end

    transition strategy & solution

    , along with the process owners by consolidating relevant inputs from cross functional teams, in line with the solution
  • Participate in/lead Pre-Transition

    Workshops

    to gain further insight and fine tune the transformation solution
  • Create comprehensive

    transition plans

    outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Communicate

    effectively with all

    stakeholders

    to keep them informed about progress.
  • Identify potential

    risks

    associated with transitions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee

    hand-over

    upon completion of the implementation project
  • Appropriately record project activities, accurately track, and concisely

    report project statuses

  • Manage

    escalations

    and effectively utilize higher management in resolving challenging problems
  • Deliver project

    within budget, scope and timeline

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors/Masters degree
  • 810 years of experience in managing complex Transition Projects, ideally Process Transformation Projects, including workshop facilitation
  • Strong Project management skills, preferably experience in project management tools (e.g. LSS, PMP, Agile, Waterfall and Scrum)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
  • International experience required
  • Knowledge of business cases and capacity planning
