Job Description

The trainee will assist in the implementation, monitoring, and communication of BioNEST-linked programs and startup activities. The role involves supporting incubation management, event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and outreach for BioNEST-linked programs.


Key Responsibilities


1. Program Management and Fund Oversight

· Support planning, coordination, and reporting of BioNEST-linked programs and initiatives.

· Work with finance and administration teams to ensure timely disbursement and monitoring of startup-linked funds.

· Assist in documentation and compliance for program deliverables.

2. Startup Engagement

· Conduct regular review meetings with incubated startups to assess progress and challenges.

· Maintain updated records of startup performance, milestones, and success stories for internal and external reporting.

3. Program Development and Event Coordination

· Assist in organizing workshops, demo days, networking sessions, and industry engagement events.

· Coordinate logistics, communications, and visibility for events under BioNEST-linked programs.

4. Faculty and Research Linkages

· Scout and prepare technical briefs on IIT Delhi faculty innovations with potential for translation or commercialization.

· Support linkage between faculty technologies and relevant startups or industry partners.

5. Proposal and Grant Support

· Contribute to preparation of concept notes, proposals, and grant applications for BioNEST and FITT programs.

· Assist in data compilation and preparation of progress reports for funding agencies.

6. Outreach and Communication

· Develop communication materials, digital creatives, and visibility content for BioNEST and FITT programs.

· Represent FITT and BioNEST at events, conferences, and ecosystem forums to enhance institutional presence.


Qualifications and Skills


· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Management, or related disciplines.

· Experience: 0–3 years in innovation management, incubation, research coordination, or related roles.

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and data management/reporting tools.

· Ability to multitask and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Attributes

· Interest in entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, and technology commercialization.

· Prior exposure to incubators, accelerators, or R&D project management is desirable.


Remuneration


Consolidated fellowship/consultancy as per FITT norms and candidate experience.
