Trainee Chartered Accountant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-savvy Functional Consultant – ERP to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a CA or Semi-Qualified CA who wants to transition into the IT field and work on ERP solutions. You will act as the bridge between finance/accounting teams and the technical development team — ensuring ERP systems meet business requirements and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:1. Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering

• Work closely with finance, accounts, and operations teams to understand workflows, reporting needs, and process gaps.
• Document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for ERP configuration.

2. ERP Implementation & Configuration

• Assist in the design, setup, and customization of ERP modules (Finance, Inventory, Payroll, etc.).
• Test ERP functionalities and coordinate with the technical/development team to ensure accurate configuration.
• Support data migration activities and validate accuracy of data post-migration.

3. User Training & Support

• Conduct user training sessions and create user manuals/standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Act as the first line of support for ERP-related functional issues.

4. Process Optimization

• Recommend improvements to existing processes based on best practices in finance and accounting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements in ERP workflows.

5. Collaboration & Project Management

• Work with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth ERP rollout.
• Track implementation milestones and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

• CA (Chartered Accountant) / Semi-Qualified CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
• Interest in technology, business process automation, and ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Zoho, Tally ERP, or Odoo (even as a user).
• Experience with financial audits, MIS reporting, or process documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
